On the 12th of March 2014, it was sports day for 3 to 6.

Firstly we got into our age groups and our house colours.
I was in the 12 and 13 year old girls group. when we got organised,
we went to our first event. The relays, the relays were only for the people that got into the relays. I had to run in the relays because I got in. My relay team came third and we got a green ribbon. Well done to the people in my team!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the relays we went to shot put. I got 6.28 and I came second. I got a red ribbon that had second on it. I think Grace Rodgers came first in shot put and third place was Grace Farrer, and I was so sad my closest friend Brooke was so close from coming third but she came 4th.

The next event was 100m. We had to run in a straight line and at the other end there were flags and adults getting ready to stop the timer when we go over the line. I came 4th but didn’t go over the line faster enough to come 1st 2nd or 3rd.

After 20 minutes we did hurdles they were hard and fun. I jumped over the high ones and I came 2nd last but I tried my best.

Then we had a 5 minute brake. 5 Minutes later we went to our next event and that was high jump I did not go over the string once but I still tried

After that we had 4 events to go. When we had done our 4 events there was a sausage sizzle. They were delicious. It was nearly the end of the day so all we did was nothing. We waited and waited until 1 minute later the bell went then we all went home!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today on the 4th of March 2014 we went to the rock pools at Sting Ray Bay.

We have to find 3 plants and 3 animals to write in a book with activities.

The animals that Alana,Jasmine,Starsha,me and my dad Gavin
found were, Sea stars, little mullet fish also so we were the luckiest class on earth to see a red octopus. It was scary.

When we had to found 3 plants we found normal seaweed, something to do with grass and lettuce,next one was I can’t really remember but It was something really interesting.

After that we got on the bus and went back to school.
